Local organizers who are collaborating with the children of longtime home decorator Jerry Wolf invite everyone living in Tipton to help bring back the Christmas spirit that comes with touring lights in Tipton during the holidays with the third annual Jerry Wolf Memorial Christmas Decorating Contest.
The contest this year will benefit Ability Mid-Mo, a new organization that will be providing services to persons with developmental disabilities as reported in last week’s issue of The Tipton Times.
Residents may decorate anytime between now and Saturday, Dec. 13, when judging will take place. If possible, organizers ask that decorators make it extra special by being all “glammed out and lit up” for the Tipton Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade on Friday, Nov. 28.
The winner will receive half the funds raised. A fee of $10 is requested of those who want to be judged. You may also pay the fee to nominate a home.
