Tipton will host its Homecoming festivities Friday, Sept. 22, with the football team taking on Wellington-Napolean at 7 p.m.
During halftime of the game, the homecoming royalty will take their marks on the field for the crowning ceremony.
This year's candidates are, from left: Front row, princesses Leila Hunsburger, freshman, Delaney Doyle, sophomore, and Carsyn Petree, junior and senior queens Raylin Potter, Leah Gentges, Meagan Koechner and Holly Parker; and back row, princes Chance Petree, freshman, Will Cashman, sophomore, and Cooper Stufflebean, junior; and senior kings Charlie Miller, Jackson Bailey, Tyler Baer and Cain Myers.
Tipton High School Homecoming will take place Friday, Sept. 22, with the Cardinals hosting Wellington-Napolean at 7 p.m.
Leading up to the event, the week of Monday, Sept. 18, through Friday, Sept. 22, will include Hollywood themed spirit days and events.
The parade will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 22, with the pep assembly to follow.
Middle/High School
Dress up days for middle school and high school students will be as follows:
Monday-Celebrity Rank Days, wear your class color, A-List seniors, white, B-List juniors, red, C-List sophomores, blue, D-List freshman, green, up-and-coming middle school, pink;
Tuesday-Stunt Double Day, twin with your look alike;
Wedensday-Barbie Movie Day, dress like Ken and Barbie or wear pink;
Thursday-Celebrity Day Hollywood Walk of Fame, dress up as your favorite celebrity for the day;
Friday-Red Carpet, wear your homecoming shirts or Cardinal gear.
A Powder Puff football game will be held on the football field Thursday, Sept. 21, with a dance to follow from 8 to 9:30 p.m. in the circle drive. Dress for the dance is casual, come as you are, with music, snacks and cornhole to play.
Elementary
Elementary students will also participate in spirit week with days as follows:
Monday-Class Rank Day, wear your class colors: Kindergarten, red, first grade, white, second grade, green, third grade, blue, fourth grade, grey, fifth grade, black;
Tuesday-Stunt Double Day, dress with your look alike;
Wednesday, Barbie Movie Day: dress like Ken and Barbie, or wear pink.
Thursday-Paparazzi Day. wear a hat to disguise yourself.
Friday-Red Carpet Day, Wear red or your Cardinal gear.
