The Central Missouri Sportswriters and Broadcasters met Wednesday, March 20, at Sweet Smoke BBQ in Jefferson City to vote on the Class 1 through Class 6 boys and girls All-District basketball teams.
Tipton received five players and a coach for Class 2 boys and girls.
For the boys, Class 2 held 50 nominees, with two teams of 15 to fill.
Jackson Bailey, senior, was named to the first team, followed by Zach Moon, senior, second team.
Salisbury had three players named to the teams with Coach Kenny Wyatt being the boys Coach of the Year.
Northwest-Hughesville held two players.
The Class 2 girls had 63 nominees to fill two teams with 15 each as well.
Charlee Bailey, junior, and Clara Williams and Ava Schlotzhauer, sophomores were both named to the first team.
Coach Jason Culpepper was named the Class 2 girls Coach of the Year once again.
