The Tipton Cardinal baseball team went into the fifth inning falling 7-4 in the Championship game for Class 2 District 14.
Lucas Cashamn hits a home run to take the Cardinals to 5.
Bottom of the 5th the Cardinals tie the game at 7 to go into the top of the 7th.
A quick 3 outs and Tipton is up to bat looking for just one run. Charlie Miller makes it to first followed by Rhett Lambert.
With 2 on base, Lucas comes up to bat with a hit right over first base, allowing Miller to score the run and take the 8-7 win for the district title.
The boys will start the state tournament against the district 13 winner. Time and place is yet to be determined.
